The LulzBot Mini is Open Source Hardware, certified by the Free Software Foundation, so open for anyone to use and improve upon. It has a buildvolume of 152mm x 152mm x 158mm (6in x 6in x 6.2in) and it reaches a maximum resolution of 50 microns.
With its open filament system this 3D printer has nearly unlimited potential for new materials. The LulzBot Hexagon Hot End heats up to 300°C (572°F) and the bed heats up to 120°C (248°F). This means the printer can heat up to temperatures required for industrial-grade materials.
